You will support the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse or Matron in delivering outstanding care with compassion to our patients, their relatives, and visitors. Your commitment to excellence will ensure a high standard of nursing is delivered by yourself and your colleagues. You will focus on comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care to meet patients' needs, all in accordance with local and National standards and evidence-based guidelines. You will be supporting the Ward Manager to lead a 5 high dependency surgical ward for elective orthopedic, urology, upper G.I and breast patients. This is a fantastic development opportunity for a band 5 staff nurse to gain experience at band 6 level. You will gain knowledge and experience of the skills needed to run a busy hospital ward and the wider implications of clinical governance.
