Being a Hospital domestic / porter can be a very demanding, fast paced role. You will be expected to clean all areas within the Hospital, including high risk areas to a very high standard and assist with the transfer of patients / deliveries between the hospital's departments. You will be expected to wear PPE at all times (PPE will be provided by the Trust). Vacancies Available Post 1 = 15 hours per week: working 2 x 7.5 hour shifts on a 7 day rota To provide a cleaning service in public, patient and staff areas in compliance with NHS guidance for standards of cleanliness and in association with Departmental/Ward managers, housekeepers and supervisors, to ensure the delivery of a quality, patient focused service. Assist with the transfer of patients / deliveries between the hospital's departments. You will need to be hard working, reliable and a good team player. Although the hours are predominately based at Victoria Infirmary, you will need to be flexible and able to travel at short notice between other sites belonging to the Trust to assist with the changing demands of the service.
