This role is vital part o four ward team and include stock control, managing ward equipment and improving patient's experience. We Are Looking For Someone With The Following Skills Good team work and communication skills Experience with dealing with members of the public Evidence of General Education e.g. GCSE or equivalent and NVQ II in Healthcare Willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills You will receive an induction and be supported by experienced clinical support workers and the ward nurses in the role. Closing date: 19th May 2024 Interview date: 28th May 2024 Receive visitors to the area in a hospitable manner to encourage good working relationships Undertake training to enable post holder to order stock for ward and ensure adequate levels are maintained. Liaise with ward manager and procurement if stocks are low/deliveries are delayed. Ensure that all documentation with regards to the ordering are kept safely and in an organised manner. Distribute patient questionnaires prior to discharge home and highlight concerns raised by families with Nurse in Charge, referring on to ward manager, matron where appropriate Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of all storage and clinical areas. Clean all equipment and restock where appropriate prior to storage Ensure equipment room is tidy and free of clutter, clear signage and equipment is plugged in as necessary. Restock all clinical supplies required by both medical and nursing staff as required.
