Working as a psychologist in Leicestershire Partnership Trust The Trust has a substantial service structure with psychologists in lead roles including at directorate level. We have psychologists as pathway leads for complex trauma, psychosis, and personality disorders who are supported by psychologists at every grade. There are therefore clear career paths for psychologists who join us and we are committed to your development through training and supervision. We support our psychologists to employ the full range of their skills, and to divide their time accordingly. You will be able to participate in teaching, training, research, service development, supervision, team supervision, reflective practice, and direct clinical work for individuals and groups. It is a great place to be a psychologist, as we get to shape the services people need. This post attracts a Welcome Bonus of £5,000. This comprises of an initial payment of £1800 pro rata to hours worked (payable with your first salary); a further payment of £1800 pro rata to hours worked after 12 months service and a final payment of £1400 pro rata to hours worked after 18 months service. Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities) This is an exciting time to join the pathway for relational and emotional needs. You will join over 30 staff, where you will work with the Consultant Psychologist, Principal Psychologists, Clinical Associate Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists, Medical Psychotherapist, Peer Support Workers, and Mental Health Practitioners. You will help our population through direct and indirect interventions, delivering individual and group interventions and through supervision, training, and consultation. We have practitioners in the service experienced in Mentalization-Based Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Structured Clinical Management, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, trauma approaches, and in delivering integrative psychological approaches. You will have the opportunity to enhance the breath of your psychological skills through a variety of supervision opportunities and continued professional development. You will have the opportunity to further develop your leadership and service development skills. We will support your development through internal and external training programmes. We have strong links to the University of Leicester and you can be involved in teaching, trainee placements, and input.
