The role As our marketing assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting all marketing and creative functions. You’ll report to the head of marketing and work with our CRM, creative and operations teams, as well as influencers, journalists and partners. This role offers a great opportunity to start your career in marketing and develop a versatile skill set, building your reputation both in and outside of the company. Key responsibilities: Influencers: Working with the head of marketing, you’ll work with a brief to source relevant influencers and potential brand ambassadors. Using your great eye for engaging content, you’ll choose influencers that fit the brief and make contact with them to pitch the opportunity. Once they’re a “yes!” you’ll be their go-to link to Urban, so you’ll be responsible for making sure they know all the details of the campaign, they have their agreements signed and treatments booked You’ll manage and maintain a bank of influencer and UGC content, making sure it’s kept up to date and accessible by the wider marketing and creative team Social media: Working alongside the content marketing manager, you’ll monitor our social media channels and engage with comments and DMs, building a community of self-care fans through thoughtful initiatives like surprise discounts and freebies, and just nice words of joy to keep our followers engaged An interest in content creation and a good eye for captivating content is a huge bonus and if you’re interested in helping us to grow our channels through UGC content, we’ll do our best to make sure you have everything you need to be able to do that Partnerships: Support the head of marketing with brand partnership admin, sourcing contact details for prospective partners, creating discount codes or their customers and sharing assets for their emails or social content Build and maintain a public asset bank, making sure partners have access to the latest imagery and logos and that our profiles are updated General marketing and creative support : Support with the coordination of photo and video shoots Upload copy to the app and website from time-to-time Help planning and organising occasional customer and therapist events Support various marketing and commercial initiatives as needed Requirements You have 1-2 years experience in brand marketing, or you’re brand new to marketing with a passion to learn You live by your to-do list, you’re organised and able to work on multiple projects in parallel You have great attention to detail You’re a great communicator, you love meeting new people and building relationships You have your finger on the pulse on all things marketing and you’re always up to date with latest app updates and social trends You’re willing to learn: we’ll make sure that you have the time you need to skill up You have a genuine interest in wellbeing and self-care Benefits Time off to recharge with 25 days annual leave, going up by one day a year (up to three days) after you’ve been with us for two years Hybrid working - work where you feel best, with 1 day a week with the team in a Central London WeWork, and the option to work from a WeWork more if you’d like to 12 weeks fully paid parental leave for expectant parents after one year of tenure 10 days of paid sick days in any 12 month rolling period, so you can feel better physically and mentally Discounted treatments whenever you need them and a free treatment once a year Workplace pension scheme.
