Currently, we have 5 cardiac cath labs, 8 day case beds, 5 radial chairs and 1 recovery space. By early next year, we would be expanding into 6 cath labs, 8 day case beds, 6 radial chairs, and 4 recovery beds. We want to build a flexible workforce, and we would require you to rotate between the 3 areas, supported by dedicated mentors and a visible cath lab leadership team, including a clinical practice educator who will help you achieve essential skills and competencies. To provide high quality compassionate intra-operative care to all patients undergoing minimally invasive cardiac diagnostics and interventional procedures, from admission to discharge. To be professionally accountable for own actions and to work within the guidelines, policies and procedures of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Provide support and individualised care to patients, relatives/carers in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, in line with local and national targets. At all times ensure that the needs of the patient are placed at the centre of care delivery. To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover for any area specified.
