As a Engagement worker, your duties will include but not limited to: Assessing the needs of people accessing the support centre and helping people complete housing referral forms and advocate during housing assessment Signposting to specialised support services To complete a referral to case worker when there is an ongoing need to access housing and/or other services To help people access digital services such as Universal Credit, Manchester Move, apply for jobs and other necessary help to access housing To enable access to primary health care, drug and alcohol services and mental health support services To create positive working relationships with external agencies To liaise regularly with all Engagement Workers, Case Workers, and Recovery Manager To maintain up-to-date records of everyone who uses the service, recording on the database To maintain confidentiality and work in line with GDPR and to refer to the Manager for assistance where needed.
