We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. This post is 26.35 hours per week and is fixed term for 24 months. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours. We currently have a band 8a clinical/counselling psychologist post available within West Dunbartonshire Primary Care Mental Health Team. This post can be filled by a clinical or counselling psychologist. Part time and flexible /working arrangements are available. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and innovative clinical/counselling psychologist to be part of a busy, cohesive and friendly psychology service within West Dunbartonshire. You will have responsibility for the delivery of specialist psychological assessment, high intensity/ highly specialist individual and group therapies, and supervision of qualified staff and psychologists in training. We also have an ongoing programme of Quality Improvement which you would have a role in expanding via service development projects. You will be supported to pursue your own professional interests through continued professional development and be part of a supportive, professional network of psychologists working across North West Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire. Candidates will have a Doctoral level (or equivalent) professional qualification in Clinical Psychology and should be eligible for registration with the HCPC.
