Job Profile As a Healthcare Assistant you will support with overall day to day operation of the clinical & consulting outpatient's rooms in multiple buildings ensuring overall care and safety to the patient, visitors and staff. Job Type: This is a full time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. Shifts: We operate a mixed shift pattern - Earlies / Lates. Act as a chaperone during patient examinations and assist Consultants of different specialities with specified procedures that may be performed in the outpatient setting, charging and writing notes for these on the Clinic computer system Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to patients, recognising their individuality, and promoting privacy and dignity at all times To assist in the smooth running of a variety of specified Consultant clinics working alongside reception and clinical staff or at times autonomously including ENT/Gynaecology/Dermatology Preparing clinical rooms for procedures and assisting staff with administrative and clinical duties Skills & Experience NVQ in Care Level 3/4 or equivalent Previous experience working in an outpatient area within a hospital. To have orthopaedic, gynaecology, ENT, Dermatology background. To hold a Care certificate or be working towards this. Experience with Meditech would be greatly beneficial.
