You will be working within the Primary Care Team delivering a variety of nurse lead Assessments and Interventions, including Medication Administration, Health Screening, Managing Medical Emergencies, Delivering Enhanced Care to a small case load, Managing Minor Injuries and Long Term Conditions Clinics, while working in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary Prisoner Healthcare team of, General Practitioners, Mental Health and Substance Misuse Nursing Teams. You will be part of a wide MDT working in collaboration with Mental Health, GPs, Pharmacy, AHP, Psychologists and SPS Prison Staff. We are seeking experienced Bank Registered Nurses who can display good decision making skills, communication and interpersonal skills that are committed to delivering high quality safe and effective patient centred care to this complex patient group within this unique setting. You must display good communication and interpersonal skills, be organised and have experience of working within a caring environment.
