We are ideally looking to recruit a pharmacist with mental health experience, however support and training opportunities are available for the successful candidate if they are transitioning into mental health, as well as opportunities for independent prescribing and extended pharmacy roles. Main duties of the job This post present a great opportunity for apharmacist motivated by the desire to improve patient care to support the Community Mental Health teams. You will be working with Mental Health Pharmacists and Technicians to provide this service. The role demands an organised, flexible individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work on their own initiative. The team provides a well-structured support system, access to professional training, and excellent opportunity for professional development. There is no dispensary commitment with this role. You will be responding to queries, working proactively in teams, and seeing patients to provide choice around medication options. This role is an exciting opportunity to work in newly emerging mental health roles, with clinical contact and supported training within the context of a highly specialised and experienced team.
