The unit provides chemotherapy and supportive treatments along with oncology outpatient clinics. The main duties of the post will be to provide reception duties welcoming patients and their families to the unit. Managing appointments via the hospital systems and ensuring outcomes are recorded. The post holder will receive all phone calls from patients, their families and health care professionals and will prioritise and triage calls. Here at Bolton our patients are at the heart of everything we do. We ensure our patients receive the highest quality of Care and are guided by our trust Values. You will work within the Churchill Unit team which is part of the wider cancer services team. You will also work closely with Clinical Nurse specialists and Consultants from Christie hospital who have regular clinics on the unit.
