The role will be expected to working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate and co-ordinate the function of a Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meeting and ensure this is effectively run following up agreed outcomes to support an effective patient pathway. Key responsibility for monitoring and tracking patients on a suspected cancer pathway ensuring compliance with Next Steps and adherence to local and national waiting times targets. Responsible for monitoring and tracking referrals with suspected cancer to ensure that patient’s appointments and treatment are booked to national and local waiting times targets. To facilitate and coordinate the function of the Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and ensure that meeting run effectively and are well structured. To facilitate collection of data for all cancer and enter this onto an appropriate database Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).
