Position: About the Role: As a Pharmacy Technician, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Organising and prioritising workload to ensure that responses to patient queries are provided in a timely manner. Providing medication advice to patients verbally and in written form in an accessible manner; including but not limited to how to take medicines, common side effects, and interactions with other medications. Supporting the repeat prescription request process, identifying issues or discrepancies where necessary Implementing, maintaining, and improving systems, including IT requirements and the creation and update of SOPs Maintaining accurate appropriate and concise records, undertaking audits when required Contributing to a multi-professional approach in the management of patients, including attending and contributing to MDT meetings Actively involving service users in providing feedback of their experience of the current service and suggestions for improvements.
