However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37-hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. To contribute to the provision of NHS Lothian medicines management services in promoting the use of evidence-based quality and cost-effective prescribing across general practices. To work in partnership with other professionals and staff within general practices to deliver pharmaceutical care and reduce risk to patients within NHS Lothian. The post holder will assist in analysing prescribing information and implementing practice based prescribing initiatives, to influence changes in prescribing and to facilitate the safe, effective, and economic use of medicines across the HSCPs.
