Are you interested in supporting a clinical team to provide high quality care to patients? This role provides administrative support to the Orthotics service, alongside reception responsibilities. The Orthotics service provides outpatient and inpatient care across Salisbury District Hospital and relies upon a small team to support with booking appointments, patient phone calls and ordering of items associated with the clinical work. Working as part of a small friendly team allows for a variety of work and the ability to make an impact with your contribution. The post holder will provide effective and efficient administrative support within the Orthotics service. They will work primarily within the Orthotics administration team but also as part of the wider Clinical Science and Engineering Department. Providing support to the clinical, scientific and technical staff and each other to deliver a high quality service to patients and other health care professionals. Though based in one service, the post holder may be required to work in other areas of the department where support is needed. They will be required to follow established procedures and work under direct or indirect supervision but use their own initiative and take responsibility for themselves and the quality of their own work. The post holder will be required to communicate professionally with patients, healthcare professionals and suppliers, some of the information being complicated and sensitive in nature. To work in the admin offices and in our receptions to perform all aspects of these administrative tasks. "}
