This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the Partnerships and Philanthropy team, assisting in high-profile events as part of a creative and resourceful group dedicated to making a difference. You will work closely with the Philanthropy Events Executive to ensure successful event delivery and strengthen relationships with supporters and stakeholders. Your organisational skills will be key to the success of each event. This role will be based in Edinburgh with some home working. We will provide you with the equipment you need to be able to work remotely and flexibly as occasional travel within Scotland is required. Some of our sites are not easily accessed via public transport so it would be beneficial if you have a full driving licence and access to a car. Why CHAS? As a member of the Partnerships & Philanthropy team, you will be instrumental in raising funds to achieve this vision. Work closely with the Philanthropy Events Executive to deliver high-profile events. Serve as the primary contact for all event planning and execution aspects, including sourcing and coordinating invite lists, managing RSVPs, and maintaining accurate records in the database. Manage supporter communications from the special events inbox, responding professionally and promptly to all inquiries. Handle gifts, issue invoices, and ensure timely acknowledgment and processing of donations in collaboration with the finance and supporter care teams. About You We are a looking for an innovative self-starter to join our small events team. You must be well organised and efficient, with IT skills and experience of using a work-related database or CRM system. An excellent communicator with outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work flexibly to meet competing deadlines.
