The unit is a new venture for the trust and the post holders will have the opportunity to not only embed their clinical skills but work in collaboration across the network. You must be an RSCN or RN Child, qualified nurse with substantial experience of working in a Paediatric Critical Care environment. You must hold a recognised Critical Care qualification and the Mentor and Assessors qualification. The post holders will support the Band 7 Lead Nurse and fellow Band 6 Senior Nurses within the team and offer band 5 nursing support and training across ward 25. The ideal candidates must have proven clinical leadership and management skills, and be able to demonstrate they will be an effective role model within the ward / unit environment. The ideal candidates must have experience of multidisciplinary working and will demonstrate excellent communication skills.
