Contribute to the departments compliance with the criteria for British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG) accreditation. Clinical Nurse Specialist in Uro-gynaecology A part-time position has become available in the Uro-gynaecology Team based St Alban's City Hospital. The post holder will run nurse-led clinics providing treatment for patients undergoing a variety of uro-gynaecology tests and procedures. They will deliver an expert nursing service within Urogynaecology, providing a variety of nurse led clinics including Peripheral Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS), vaginal pessary fitting for new and follow up patients, complex TWOC, bladder installation, medication reviews, patient education, catheter care & urodynamic diagnostic clinics. The service receives referrals from a variety of settings many of which are complex patients. This post if for 30hrs per week and the shift pattern will be any times between Monday to Friday 07:30 to 18:00hrs, depending on the needs of the service. The post holder will have a sound knowledge of the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG) accreditation agenda and be actively involved in maintaining accreditation at WHTH. The post holder will be flexible in their working practice and support any necessary changes to develop and improve the urogynaecology services at WHTH.
