Ward B is an 18 bedded ward comprising of 14 acute general medical beds with a 4 bedded Medical/Surgical High Dependency Unit. This is a Fixed Term post for 1 year. Ward B offers a friendly and supportive learning environment. You will have robust clinical skills and knowledge in acute medical nursing, experience in high dependency care, cardiology and respiratory nursing is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Applicants should have evidence of continuous professional development, a commitment to life-long learning and an enthusiastic and innovative approach to service development. Lorn & Islands rural General Hospital is a modern, well-equipped hospital situated in Oban on the stunning west coast of Scotland. Ferry links can transport you easily to Mull or the more distant islands. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with countless leisure activities, good schools and a strong sense of community. Relocation package available.
