The appointee will be expected to undertakein Consultant on Call rota which covers referrals from the wards and GP calls between 9am-5pm. There are no evening or weekend on call commitments. We are inviting applications for a full time, Consultant with a special interest in Early Inflammatory Arthritis. The Rheumatology Department at Ipswich provided adult Rheumatology services for patients across Ipswich and East Suffolk. The department runs outreach clinics in Felixstowe General Hospital, Aldeburgh Cottage Hospital and health centres in Stowmarket, and Hartismere in eye, in addition to clinics within the trust and rheumatology outpatient. The post-holder will: Work with colleagues to provide a consultant-led service with the highest standard of care Work with the multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines Develop and maintain good working practices within wards, outpatients and A&E Collaborate and promote close working links with colleagues in tertiary centres, community services and primary care Offer support and leadership to junior medical colleagues, nursing colleagues and other members of the multi-disciplinary team "}
