The Hull and East Riding Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation service is expanding. This has created a static band 6 position within the team. The team provides community based exercise classes/home based exercise programmes and assessments/education for patients with a wide range of cardiac and respiratory conditions. This post would suit an experienced band 5 or band 6 looking for a new challenge. Having a range of respiratory and cardiac physiotherapy experience would be beneficial. Full training and support will be given. The classes are based at many sites across the region so being a car driver is essential. We require self-motivated, dynamic clinicians who are stimulated by challenge and are looking for the opportunity to improve their skills at a senior level. Support will be provided to enhance both clinical skills and operational management skills. Contributions to service planning, development and teaching both therapists and students is an expectation of the role. As a Senior Physiotherapist, the post holder will be a role model for their team, pride themselves on delivering high quality care and motivate their team to do the same. The post would suit a band 5 NHS physiotherapist who has completed their core rotations or an experienced senior physiotherapist who has an interest in specialising in the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
