Working as part of a dynamic team comprising of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dieticians and Speech and Language Therapists, you will be delivering early rehabilitation programmes to patients within the polytrauma ward and across the major trauma service at the University Hospital of Wales. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an interest in rehabilitation. Excellent communication skills are key in this newly developed role. It is important that you are a team player with a positive outlook, enthusiasm and ability to learn and develop new skills. Previous experience in rehabilitation in the acute hospital setting would be advantageous. The post holder will be required to work a 7 day job plan to support the delivery of a 7 day Physiotherapy service to the Polytrauma ward. A full and comprehensive training programme will be available. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
