We are looking for 1 highly motivated individuals to join Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) as a Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner. This is an exciting role, to support the transformation of our community services for adults with severe mental problems. This role will contribute to ensuring adults with severe mental health problems have greater access to psychologically informed interventions. The post will be based at Northcroft (Erdington) Birmingham and Solihull community mental health team (CMHT). As a Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner, there is an expectation that you have already undertaken a one-year training in collaboration with a training provider. You will only be eligible for a full-time qualified position (Band 5) if you have successfully completed the course. The Mental Health And Wellbeing Practitioner Will Develop and practice psychologically-informed interventions under supervision, working directly with adults in the community Support collaborative care planning, alongside other members of the multi-disciplinary team Work closely alongside a team of mental health professionals to deliver a set of brief wellbeing-focused psychologically informed interventions Please note: Applicants will need to meet both the University and Trust eligibility requirements for appointment.
