We are pleased to offer three Assistant Psychologist posts, one post at Moss House in Garston, one post at Northwood House in Kirby and one whose location is to be confirmed. The CMHTs have a well established history of employing Assistant Psychologists, are appreciative of the skills and input that Assistants provide the service and are pleased to now be able to offer 3 permanent positions. The successful applicant will be providing psychological interventions at level 2 of our Stepped care model which involves providing Emotional Coping Skills interventions in both a group and 1:1 format. Under the supervision of Psychologists our Assistants also offer psychological interventions e.g. CBT and CFT etc. Shortlisting planned for: 10th October 2024 Interviews planned for: 18th October 2024 The role of the Assistant Psychologist is to support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service by delivering effective and evidence-based psychological therapies. Under supervision and with access to relevant CPD opportunities the Assistant Psychologist will also undertake direct work with clients individually and in group settings within a stepped model of care. The Assistant Psychologists will work closely with qualified Psychological Professionals on research, evaluation and audit projects, where applicable and will be expected to be an active member of the wider multidisciplinary team.
