The FCMHT works with adults with mental health problems who pose a high risk of offending/reoffending. The core functions of the CMHFT include case management, psychological assessment, risk assessment, risk formulation, risk management, treatment, and case consultation. Substance misuse and employment support services are embedded into the service. The Successful candidate will be working 30 hours a week. There will be the opportunity to work directly with service users, providing psychological risk assessment, formulation, and treatment, and indirect work with the multidisciplinary team, mental health services and external agencies. You will work under the supervision of a Consultant Forensic Psychologist and a Clinical Psychologist and receive supervision and training. You will have a key role managing databases, data collection, data analysis and contributing to research. You will support the Psychologist to plan and facilitate individual and group treatment, to conduct risk assessment and support case formulation sessions. It is an ideal opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team of multi-disciplinary professionals and develop your range of skills. The Successful candidate will meet the essential requirements in the person specification and have some experience of working with people with mental health and or forensic needs. The role will be based at Swanswell Point, with the expectation to travel within Coventry and Warwickshire. A full clean driving licence and enhanced DBS will be necessary.
