New starters joining the Trust before this time will commence on the old payscales and will move to the new ones once they have been finalised** The Digital Health Records Manager will be responsible for the management of the Health Records & Scanning Bureau department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high quality, efficient and cost-effective Health Records Service as we move towards an Electronic Patient Record. The role requires excellent communication, reliable and consistent service, robust team working, and provision of cover as required. It is essential that our services provide Clinicians and other Healthcare Professionals with access to high quality patient documentation in a timely manner. It is of paramount importance to ensure that scanned patient information can be easily retrieved at the point of care. Responsible for ensuring a high-quality records management service to all patients seen in the Trust. Manage and lead the Health Record and Scanning Bureau department, including work allocation, checking and evaluation work and identifying training needs. Ensure all key performance indicators in remit are met in line with the Trust's Record Management Policies. Directly line manage the 2 Casenote Library Team Leaders and oversee management of the Health Records & Scanning Bureau team Support on the operational rollout of the HDFT Paperlite programme Implement and expand the HDFT Scanning Bureau Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) cares for the population in Harrogate and the local area, as well as across North Yorkshire, Leeds and parts of the North East.
