Working within a prison environment can be a challenging place to work, we are seeking someone with strong clinical and interpersonal skills who are able to manage and respond to the dynamic needs of the team, the client group and the environment, to ensure that provision is accessible and appropriate. We are seeking a full-time Band 5 Assistant psychologist to support the psychological services pathway, which currently implements a stepped care model of service delivery. The post holder would be expected to be a key member of the multidisciplinary team and will support the assessment and dissemination of findings from psychological assessments and will be expected to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with initiative and autonomy. The Senior Assistant psychologist will also provide direct psychological intervention and groupwork support, at the Stepped 2 and 3 care of provision.
