We are seeking staff with knowledge of CBT and/or DBT who would like to develop their expertise in working with complex trauma (PD) in our community based service. This post is ideal for those psychologists looking to develop expertise in working with complex presentations. Training/supervision in CBT for PD will be provided by BABCP accredited CBT therapists and trainers. Training in DBT will be provided by a consultant DBT trainer. Opportunities exist for training in ACT, CFT, and NET. We work with a hybrid model, allowing staff to combine working on site with virtual working, thus supporting for flexibility and a better work/life balance. IMPART is closely linked to the psychology department at University College London, and staff participate in supporting the doctorate in clinical psychology through supervision of trainees, reflective practice facilitation, teaching, and research. IMPART staff benefit from a wide range of CPD available through UCL. IMPART was one of the three IAPT SMI demonstration sites for NHS England, thus we are seeking applicants with some experience of working with individuals complex needs and difficulties consistent with a personality disorder, and interested in expanding the evidence base for effective services. Providing specialist assessments and interventions for clients with difficulties consistent with a personality disorder. Offering a range of psychological therapy models of treatment to clients with difficulties consistent with a personality disorder Providing consultation and advice to members of own team and other teams on psychological therapy models of understanding of personality disorder. Providing consultation and advice on risk assessment and risk management of clients with personality disorder to members of own team and other teams. Providing training and supervision to staff within IMPART and across the local area on effective working with individuals with difficulties consistent with a personality disorder. Participating in research into personality disorder. Participating in agreed audits. Supporting the data collection for IMPART Developing new clinical materials, leaflets, and handouts for use with clients, families and staff involved in personality disorder services Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff). Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436 p.a. pro rata for part time).
