The successful candidate will work as part of a busy, dynamic chest team. The post will involve a commitment to respiratory inpatient care, bronchoscopic and pleural lists and respiratory outpatient care with an opportunity to develop a sub-speciality interest in one of sleep medicine, Interstitial Lung disease or community respiratory care. Sessions will be provided for patient-related administration and supporting patient activities. Successful applicants will be encouraged to develop a sub-speciality interest that complements the existing team. Currently the Respiratory Physicians participate in a respiratory on call rota (currently 1:9 weekdays and 1:10 weekends). Upon appointment of a new colleague via this post the rota would become 1:10 weekdays and 1:11 weekends.
