The occupational therapy service provides clinical support to patients with complex specialist palliative care needs, on the in-patient unit, the Rowan Day Centre and to out-patients.Patients are referred into the service for symptom management, palliative rehabilitation and for end of life care.The successful applicant will be expected to work autonomously, managing their caseload and will be responsible for evaluating their treatments and maintaining accurate documentationApplicants should have relevant post graduate experience, ideally within in a palliative care setting.The post holder will work in an integrated way with a wide multi-disciplinary team providing assessed interventions and managing complex discharges to home or other care settings.The role will include managing junior staff and involvement in supervision processes.If you are hardworking, compassionate and a great team player then we would like you to apply for this position to expand our valued team To work autonomously delivering expert, evidence based holistic clinical care to patients with complex needs across the breath of the services.The post holder will be a subject matter expert and a resource and learning to the wider MDT.
