To be the ACT technician for the Outpatient Dispensary (The Medicines Chest) based at the Women's Hospital participating in the day-to-day provision of a robust pharmacy service to the Trust, following Trust Values. At all times to comply with all policies of the Pharmacy Department and of the Birmingham Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to ensure the maintenance of professional standards and compliance with legal requirement. At all times to maintain safe standards of work and a safe and appropriate environment as required by the provisions of the Medicines Act, the Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH and waste disposal regulations, and any other requirements as may from time to time be placed upon the department. To carry out tasks appropriate to the post-holders training, experience and expertise as may be required by their line manager or the lead Pharmacist. To work agreed overtime as necessary including stock checks To work as part of the 6-day working week and cross site where necessary. "}
