The post holder will actively support and participate in the integration of a whole system approach with multi-disciplinary working at all times. The post holder will perform delegated duties on behalf of the Modern Matron in their absence. The post holder will ensure everyone, including staff, patients and visitors, has their right to be treated with respect and have their values and beliefs maintained and that they treated in such a way that maintains their privacy and dignity. Leading the staff team and ensuring high levels of morale and the best standards of care for all inpatients whilst on placement in the area. The role has a wide scope of duties involving Management, Education, Practice Development, Administration, Personal management and Health & Safety. Day to day running of the unit whilst supporting staff and patients is also essential, therefore the candidate must be highly motivated to deliver the best care possible using evidence based practice and work collaboratively with the secure networks and the Trust to grow and develop the service.
