You will be part of an expanding team of highly professional and dedicated staff whose aim is to provide an excellent, patient focus service. The ever growing and expanding service is looking for motivated individuals to assist in building healthier lives for our patients, by developing the aseptic service which is critical to the treatment of our oncology and haematology patients. The role will include a variety of tasks, enabling you to develop your knowledge and skills through structured education and training opportunities. It provides a rewarding opportunity to assist in the preparation of cytotoxic drugs, monoclonal antibodies and innovative treatments such as clinical trials. The role includes the following tasks: *Stock management *Assembly of raw materials *Transferring products into the unit *Cleaning of the unit *Performing validations *Dispensing ready-made products *Dispatching products for delivery *Using computer systems *Completing documentation Full training will be provided to ensure you feel confident in this role. Opportunities for progression are available with Band 3 Senior Assistant Technical Officer and Band 4 Specialist Assistant Technical Officer roles within the department. Training and development is encouraged, with support to complete the NVQ2 Pharmacy Manufacturing Course. "}
