Planning To be responsible for medium and long term planning for the analysis service, ensuring that it remains abreast of the latest thinking within the field, and continues to support the changing requirements of the organisation. To continually revise and refine plans which forecast many years into the future as more intelligence becomes available and ensure that the department has systems and processes in place to respond to rapid changes. To be the departments lead on capacity planning, working closely with colleagues in other corporate departments such as Planning and Improvement, to model the organisations long term capacity requirements. To work closely with CPGs to ensure their long-term development plans are fully understood and can be incorporated into capacity and demand analysis. To work closely with colleagues in Public Health to fully understand the future impact of an ageing and changing demographic profile to ensure that future demand on the organisation is effectively modelled.
