We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Nurse looking to enhance your skills to join our Paediatric Assessment Unit Team. We can offer an induction package with a ward based educator. The unit is a fast paced changing environment with referrals from primary care, emergency department, urgent care, midwifes and health visitors and also families who have open access to the unit to self-refer. Each day is always different which makes the area an ideal opportunity to learn and develop new skills We have created a cohort of nursing staff to deliver high quality care to children and their families who come through the Paediatric Assessment Unit. No previous experience of working in an assessment unit is required as full training will be given, including training on Manchester Triage system. We are a small but expanding team but are proud of the service we deliver. We work collectively as a team to constantly evaluate and improve our service where possible.
