The Neonatal Unit is a 16 bedded neonatal unit caring for babies from 27 weeks gestation, we provide 5 intensive care/high dependency cots and 11 special care cots.. We are part of the Thames Valley and Wessex Neonatal Network and the Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) and work closely with our colleagues in our neighbouring units to provide high quality care. To deliver high quality patient care on a daily basis. The post holder should be knowledgeable in all areas of nursing care including resuscitation and stabilisation, admission to discharge, which facilitates clinical practice development. They will actively support the Senior Sisters, ensuring the effective running of the unit on a daily basis.
