The post holder will provide overall management for highly complex, highly sensitive to support the delivery of a broad range of responsibilities, which includes progressing, developing and expanding the Patient and Service Users Experience service across the organisation; Progressing the education training programme, adopting a collaborative approach to joint working with a range of statutory, third and independent sector organisations to fulfil BCUHB key responsibilities and facilitating a consistent approach to Patient and Service Users Experience across BCUHB. Establishing enhanced and meaningful stakeholder and public engagement will be at the heart of this role. As such, the post holder will be required to work proactively with clinical and non-clinical BCUHB staff to facilitate greater stakeholder and public participation in strategy development in co production with partner agencies to engage the public on a wide range of health and social care issues will also be a key aspect. The post holder will be required to plan, support, facilitate and monitor the progress of projects and work streams & make up the agreed work plan programme and to provide management support, training and expert guidance to all Patient and Service user Experience staff. The post holder will lead on progressing and developing Patient and Service User Experience initiatives to drive change and service improvement across the organisation. This post is Fixed term/Secondment for 9 months to meet the needs of the service. Strategic - To understand and promote the strategic direction for the service within the Health Board, this will include: Keeping up to date with national drivers and interpret their impact on the service that they manage. Identifying opportunities for the introduction of new technology to transform working practices, using knowledge to inform the direction of the Service User Experience Listening and Learning Strategy for BCUHB that they manage. Ensuring that relevant improvement work plan projects are established to deliver strategic objectives. This will involve planning a broad range of complex activities for engagement and Patient Experience strategies and. underpinning improvement action plan that promotes and enhances opportunities to engage with patients, carers and the wider public. Monitor progress and take remedial action to address delays or risks. Project Management -- To be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the Service User Experience Listening and Learning Strategy for BCUHB and improvement plan is is managed within the post-holder's portfolio e.g. to:- Manage and lead on multiple complex work projects, taking immediate action. Co-ordinate local project teams and ensure that all personnel involved with project activities understand their roles and carry them out effectively, taking corrective action where appropriate. "}
