An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Band 6 deputy team leader within theatre recovery/ PACU at Glenfield theatre recovery. Glenfield recovery is a 12 bedded PACU working over 7 days providing 24 hour cover through, twilight's and on call shift's out of hours. The unit specialises in post anaesthetic care of patients undergoing a wide range of surgeries inclusive of thoracic, vascular, cardiology, breast, renal, hepatobiliary, ECT ,emergency and interventional radiology. A high percentage of patients that go through recovery require a higher level of post-operative care. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in high dependency immediate post anaesthetic care especially in thoracic surgery.
