You will liaise with external suppliers to maintain good levels of stock as well as working with our central procurement team. You will undertake a variety of tasks including placing orders, stock rotation and regular stock takes, ensuring that the service is cost-effective. Working within small teams, you will maintain and enhance processes to maximise quality and efficiency. We have a strong relationship with the local ICB and trust and this role will be pivotal in that ongoing relationship. In addition, you will ensure that records are accurately maintained and that reusable stock is turned around in a timely manner. You will at times, support the wider administration of the business. We are looking for a new Logistics Assistant to join our Suffolk site. This will be worked as 40 hours over 5 days per week, including weekends on a rota basis. You will undertake a variety of tasks including placing orders, stock rotation and regular stock takes, ensuring that the service is cost-effective. "}
