For further details please see attached JD&PS. We require an enthusiastic Phlebotomist to work as part of our team within the hospital and community hub. Core hours are 08:00 to 17:00. There will also be an expectation to work flexibly on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday mornings when required. You will be part of a team providing a valuable support function for the entire hospital collecting blood samples from Inpatients on Derriford's wards. Applicants must have a basic general education and knowledge of phlebotomy; excellent communication skills, be able to deal with patients and staff with tact and diplomacy; and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidates will be expected to train during the core working week. Payment for training will be made at AfC band 2 Standard rate.
