This role will be responsible for the ongoing development and sustainability of high quality and innovative practice and educational development for all neonatal services within Women and Children's Care Group. Our Care group is multi professional and covers acute and community teams across Morecambe Bay. Supporting and developing education within neonatal teams at Morecambe Bay. Whilst we have indicated Royal Lancaster Infirmary as the base for this post, candidates may be interested in their base being at our other main hospital site at Barrow-in-Furness. This is a cross bay role and the successful candidate is expected to cover both sites. You will be responsible for supporting our neonatal services on all matters relating to training and education. The role will be integral to ensuring excellent communication with the senior nursing staff within the care group and trust, as well as with external agencies and Higher Education Institutes. Liaising with the senior nursing team and relevant others, you will ensure the workforce development and education agendas are aligned and follow local and national guidance. You will be reliable, flexible, motivated, have excellent managerial skills, a commitment to ongoing learning and development, a commitment to delivering high quality care and be willing and open to embracing positive change and transformation meeting the demands of the community we serve. You must be registered with your professional body with extensive clinical experience within the field of neonatal nursing. "}
