This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced nurse with a background as a Sister/Charge Nurse in acute/emergency medicine. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of care, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving continuous improvement in patient outcomes. You will be partnered with the Matron, Clinical Service Lead, and Operational team to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care. As the Unit Manager, you will: Provide strategic leadership and direction to our established ED. Utilise various techniques to set and monitor clinical standards through audits, research, and education. Maintain a strong understanding of rota management, sickness absence, staff welfare, and incident management. About You: Substantial experience in acute medicine and/or emergency medicine. Ideally educated to degree level with a robust understanding of nursing practices. Competent with key trust systems. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills. The post holder will be professionally accountable for the maintenance of standards and professional practice as set by the NMC Code of Professional Standards of practice and behaviour and relevant professional guidelines / HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
