Based in Aberdeen - we are looking to recruit a Technician to work with our clients patients at home. The Technician will be responsible for ensuring that patients receiving oxygen therapy in their homes have the necessary equipment and supplies. This role involves the safe delivery, setup, instruction, and maintenance of home oxygen equipment and other related medical devices. An understanding and empathetic mindset is required to ensure care and consideration, keeping in mind the needs of the patient at all times. The successful candidate will work 5 days out of 7 on a rotational shift pattern. This includes weekends and bank holiday working in line with the needs of our clients patients and their contracts. The Primary Duties Of This Role Are To Install; deliver and set up the Oxygen equipment in patients homes - ensuring everything is working correctly and that all risk assessments are completed. Educate patients and their carers on the proper use, care and maintenance of the oxygen equipment. Routinely maintain and service the oxygen equipment and repair any issues as they arise Ensure all documentation and maintenance logs are accurately completed Follow all company policies and procedures for safety, equipment handling, and patient care. Participate in an on-call rota for on-call activities to address equipment failures or urgent patient needs within the contract time frames. Respond quickly and effectively to any urgent requests for oxygen supply or equipment service. The Successful Candidate Will Have Vast customer service experience Ability to work on their own Excellent IT Skills Basic mechanical skills for equipment set up and repair Full Clean UK Drivers License Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment It is desirable to have experience of working in a medical oxygen environment.
