Ideally the successful candidate will already have experience as an Ocularist, but training will be giving to the right person if required. You will be working with patients who may be concerned about treatment so compassion and understanding are essential traits to have. You will be working closely in a small team so interpersonal skills are also important. The Main Duties Of The Job Are To undertake the fitting, manufacture, and supply of various ocular prostheses for adult patients. To provide advice to patients on all aspects of ocular prosthetic treatment, handling, care & hygiene. This post is based at our City Road site.
