We are recruiting highly motivated, enthusiastic, and professional Pharmacy Technicians who are able to work on an ad-hoc, flexible basis to join our pharmacy team. Candidates must have the National Certificate in Pharmacy Services and Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent and should also have completed the HN unit: Procedures for Pharmacy Dispensary Checking Technicians or Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician Award (provided by Buttercups or NPA, 2019 or before) and HNC Pharmacy Services Development and Management or be able to demonstrate equivalent competence. Candidates will be required to evidence registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) in the application form and at point of Interview. Work is offered on an \"as and when required basis\" with different shift patterns available to suit flexible working. There are no guarantees of a fixed number of hours each week as this is a demand led service. The staff bank centrally co-ordinates bank shifts for services across NHS Lothian through an electronic online booking system allowing bank workers to view and book their shifts through a computer or mobile device.
