Hours vary, but typical shift patterns include 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm. The salary for this exciting position is £22,186.00 per annum. About The Role To meet and greet guests at the hotel ensuring an efficient, professional and friendly check in/ out process. To be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and the amenities and attractions in the locality. To be aware of all hotel services and be proactive in the sale of these to guests To check in guests on arrival and check them out at the end of their stay, ensuring that the correct procedures are followed for receiving payment. To be responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes. To balance bank, cash, foreign currency and all transactions at the end of your shift. To answer telephone calls from guests and external callers. To assist guests with any reasonable request for hotel services Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution To ensure that the reception area is maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards. Report any technical and maintenance needs To ensure the security of reception and storage areas is maintained always To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures. To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect. Any other duties as required by Management About You We would love you to have previous hotel reception experience, but this is not essential as our Reception Team will provide you with full training.
