{"interviewQueryText":"What are some good interview questions in British English for the job description below?\n\n-------------------------------------------\n\nHealth Care Support Worker with NHS Scotland in United Kingdom\n\nNHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society. An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to join the well established nursing team within the Endoscopy Unit at Perth Royal Infirmary. This busy department provides a five day service providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for a variety of investigations including Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Gastroscopy, Urology, and Bronchoscopy for both out-patients and in-patients. We are looking for an individual who will enjoy working in a challenging environment. A large part of the Health Care Support Worker roles involves the decontamination of endoscopes. Previous experience in this type of work would be an advantage. There may be a requirement to travel and work at Ninewells Endoscopy Unit. We want our Endoscopy Units to be places where patients come first, therefore we require an individual who will work as part of the Unit team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective care for patients. We will provide a tailored induction and development programme. Informal enquiries to: Senior Charge Nurse Josy Carnegie or Charge Nurse Grace Melloy, Tel: 01738 473316. You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment. Internal applicants – written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview. Hours of work are: 37 hours x 2 and a 19 hour post, Fixed term/Secondment for 1 year. NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
