EAST LONDON NHS FOUNDATION TRUST City & Hackney Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service - 10 PAs LAS (ST3+) (Emotional & Behavioural Pathway and Adolescent Mental Health Team) A Locum specialty doctor is required for the City & Hackney Specialist Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service. City and Hackney Specialist CAMHS is a long established service for the assessment and treatment of young people up to the age of 18 years, their families and carers living in the borough and has an excellent reputation. The post is not recognised as a formal training slot. However, the on-site training opportunities will be the same as other CAMHS Specialist Registrars training within North East London Scheme (Royal London & GOSH Scheme). The post-holder would be expected to provide psychiatric and clinical input to the Emotional & Behavioural Pathway and the Adolescent Mental Health Team as well as contributing to duty rotas and linking with the East London wide CAMHS Extended Crisis Service. Interview date: TBC In the pathway you will join 1.8 WTE Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists, as well as rotating core, specialist and foundation doctors based at the Homerton Row site. The pathway benefits from considerable therapeutic expertise and there will be opportunities for the successful candidate to work collaboratively with non medical colleagues. The local population is very diverse with high levels of deprivation. C&H CAMHS works in partnership with Community CAMHS (provided by the Homerton), Social Care, Education and Third Sector agencies through the C&H CAMHS Alliance.
