To efficiently diagnose andrepair faults in mechanical installations, plant and equipment, to deal with new situations as theyarise and to pass on knowledge to others.To be able to work overtime at short notice if available to do so, and depending on the needs of theTrust. The Essentia Engineering Department is recruiting Engineering Maintenance Assistants for its team of engineers. You will be responsible for effective maintenance of the Trust's technical infrastructure. Through personal leadership, commitment and practice you will secure the highest professional standards of engineering standards throughout the Trust. The post holders will be expected to work closely with the engineering teams, Capital development and environment teams. To assist the Engineering Department with electrical, mechanical or plumbing trades, under the supervision of team managers. Assisting the flushing team as and when required under the supervision of team managers.You will also undertake unsupervised routine maintenance, minor repair work and be required to lift and move, in line with manual handling techniques.The post holders will be flexible, team players, and be responsive to the needs of the Organisation.
